With the Italian media getting more and more confident that Franck Kessie will leave AC Milan at the end of the season, they continue to detail the race which is being formed for his signing.

It turns out that Tottenham Hotspur continue to be one of the main contenders to land the 24-year-old, at least according to a story from La Repubblica today.

The newspaper (via FC Inter 1908) says Milan are now getting ready to lose the midfielder, as his contract is about to expire and he’s demanding too much money to sign a new deal.

Kessie reportedly asked for €8m for season, then adjusted to €7m, and is unlikely to drop those numbers since ‘an auction was unleashed’ for his signing.

Tottenham are now in a list which includes the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Liverpool, Juventus and Inter Milan. The report points out the Nerazzurri are in need of selling stars, but can still compete for the arrival of free agents.

With so much on Kessie’s table, Spurs will certainly have to make an attractive offer to have him for free in the summer, or maybe try to anticipate the competition and agree a deal with Milan in the January window.
