For some time now, there have been a number of rumours surrounding the future of Patrick Cutrone, currently on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers at Fiorentina.
The move was meant to help the Italian striker recover his form and potentially help Wolves make a profit, but it’s achieved the opposite, as both Beppe Iachini and Cesare Prandelli have struggled to get the best out of him.
They both feel Dusan Vlahovic is better suited for what they want to do, leaving Cutrone scrambling for minutes.
This has led to stories of an exit in January that would see him cut his time in Florence short in search of a club willing to give him more game time.
Torino appear to be that team, at least according to La Nazione on Monday.
The newspaper explain the Serie A club’s offer ‘is there’, as they ‘intend to put Simone Zaza on the list of players leaving in the business weeks of January’.
Replacing the former West Ham striker would be Cutrone, so ‘attention to what can happen’ between the Wolverhampton loanee, the Molineux side and Torino.
