This week, we’ve seen a Brazilian agent revealing that, in talks with Corinthians’ president Duílio Monteiro Alves, he suggested the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Bruno Lage.

Even though that was always a story that didn’t make sense because of how unlikely this move would be, that’s still something that apparently happened, as the official made it public.

So there was of course some reaction from fans and media about the news. And on Youtube, journalist Jorge Nicola came up with a video responding to the rumour.

He says there’s ‘zero chance’ Lage would move to Brazil now. That’s for several factors, and one of them is the €5m he makes at Wolves per season. Another is the good season he’s been having at the Molineux.

Nicola still points out he got in touch with Will Dantas, the agent who revealed the information, and confirmed that the representative ‘made the attempt’.

The president of Corinthians, however, is said to be analysing other possibilities.
