After months and months of Yacine Brahimi rumours, it was always likely to be a crazy final 24 hours for the FC Porto attacker.
Everton have been one of the most linked clubs, and as it became crystal clear that both Brahimi and Porto were gearing up for a transfer, a move became all the more likely.
Brahimi has even been training apart from the rest of Porto’s players, as a transfer approached.
On Tuesday evening, Portuguese newspaper O Jogo are claiming that Brahimi is in Liverpool ahead of a Everton transfer.
The player is said to be ‘on English soil’ and ready to sign a contract for Ronald Koeman’s team.
O Jogo believe the final transfer figure could reach €40m, but it would be no surprise if the initial fee is lower and there are bonuses to make up the full amount.
Brahimi is primarily a left winger, but the 26 year old can also play on the right or through the middle.
