PSV attacker Steven Bergwijn has told the Dutch media he’s not thinking about the reported interest from other clubs.

The 20 year old has this week been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton, after impressing for PSV this season.

Speaking to Nos.nl, Bergwijn was asked about the attention he was getting from foreign clubs: “I’m not trying to read about this. My parents and my agent do not involve me in this kind of business, I feel fine about it. I have nothing to complain about at PSV. I’m good in my skin and have no intentions to leave at all.”

Yesterday we covered reports from the Netherlands that Tottenham and Southampton were showing a keen interest in Bergwijn, ahead of the January window.

Both Premier League clubs have recruited from the Dutch league in recent seasons, and the PSV attacker is an option for both sides.

There are also claims fellow English sides West Ham and Bournemouth are keen on Bergwijn, but as it stands it seems Tottenham and Southampton interest is gathering the most speed.

It’s been common for both Tottenham and Southampton in recent seasons to be linked with the same player, following Mauricio Pochettino’s switch to White Hart Lane.
