Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United will need at least €80m if they intend to sign Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

That’s according to BILD, who report that the German side won’t be moving from that asking price and are ‘certain’ they’ll get it for the striker.

The newspaper explains how ‘millions are being juggled again’ by the Bundesliga club as Ekitiké’s asking price continues to ‘skyrocket’.

He has 19 goals to his name this season and a ‘host of magical moments’ as well, something which has seen his value rise to around €55m.

Eintracht would never sell for anywhere near that price, though, and interested parties like Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United know they will need to ‘shell out’ at least €80m for him.

The Bundesliga club are ‘certain that will happen’ at some point in the coming months. If it does, they’ll make a huge profit on a player who cost €20m in total.

They’ve even started to draw up a list of possible replacements and already have Jonathan Burkardt in their sights, as he’s also available for €20m this summer.

20% of any figure they receive for Ekitiké will go to Paris Saint-Germain so that is also leading them to push the price as high as possible.

€80m is the current figure and they’re confident Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United or any of his other suitors will be willing to pay it at some point.
