The Premier League is coming for Krzysztof Piatek, the Italian press says, and it’s quite possible the player could leave AC Milan in January.

Tuttosport has a story about it today in which they put Aston Villa as the main contenders to land the 24-year-old from the Rossoneri.

It’s said a club official was in Milan on Monday, presenting Villa’s intention of making an official bid for the striker. They could offer up to €30m for Piatek, comprised of an initial fee of €28m and another €2m in bonuses.

It’s claimed the Serie A side have given the green light for many players to leave, and this offer would even give them the chance of making a profit with his exit.

But Aston Villa should have some competition from the other English sides. Tuttosport first names West Ham, then takes claims from the English press to mention Tottenham Hotspur, and says the two clubs could come for him as well.

The difference is that they would want him on a loan deal, and that gives Villa an obvious advantage.
