Fenerbahce midfielder Ismail Yuksek has attracted the interest of Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham thanks to his performances this season.

That’s according to Sabah, who say Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham are all sending officials to watch him this evening.

Yuksek has been a regular for the Super Lig side this year, with 44 appearances in all competitions and one goal and five assists in them, predominantly playing as a defensive midfielder.

His displays have not gone unnoticed and he ‘will be under surveillance’ from the leading clubs of Europe as a result.

Indeed, those clubs will be sending scouts to watch him in tonight’s clash with Olympiakos in the Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg, which the Turkish side trail 3-2.

There’s no mention of an asking price for the 25-year-old, although he does have a contract until 2027 so there is no need for Fenerbahce to sell on the cheap if Aston Villa, Newcastle or Tottenham do make a move.

Ismail Yuksek would have to take a step up if any of the three seal what would be a surprise signing this summer.
