Aston Villa are set to make an offer for Galatasaray central defender Christian Luyindama, report Karar.
Dean Smith’s side managed to remain in the Premier League after picking up eight points in their last four matches and they are looking to add to their squad for next season.
It’s reported Luyindama has emerged as a target for Villa and Galatasaray are keen to sell the DR Congo defender. The Turkish side are in a poor financial situation after finishing 6th in the league and they need to sell some of their players before bringing in others.
Aston Villa were previously linked with a move for the 26 year old but it was reported at the time they’d pulled out of a deal for him because of a knee injury he picked up in November.
Luyindama has now fully recovered, which , according to the claims, should now result in Aston Villa making an offer for the player, say Karar.
His contract with Gala will expire at the end of June 2022.
