Aston Villa seem the be the latest club to join the race for Inter Milan youngster Valentín Carboni.
While the 19-year-old enjoys a loan spell at Monza, he’s been drawing big interest from Serie A and the Premier League recently, being linked to several clubs.
As newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport now shares a story on Carboni, they name Aston Villa as one of the contenders.
It’s said Unai Emery’s side are ‘in particular’ a club who are watching him, as they had already been following the midfielder and now have a target for the summer window.
Aston Villa should just watch out for the competition from Fiorentina and Atalanta in Italy, while likes of Brentford and West Ham United were recently linked to him as well.
Inter Milan, who are said to have a ‘jewel’ in their hands, are still wondering whether he deserves a place in the first team squad, but should be ready to listen to some offers in the summer.
It’s said that they value the player at €30m, and it’s still to be seen how much the interested clubs will put on the table.
As we reported earlier this week, in a stance that would seem alien to fans of most Premier League clubs, Juventus and Inter Milan are said to be looking to sell some of their best young talents, with there being very little emphasis on bringing them through.
Monchi will undoubtedly be aware of the situation and waiting to see what magic he can work.
