Juventus are keen on getting rid of Aaron Ramsey and last Thursday, Corriere dello Sport explained the former Arsenal star will leave the Serie A side ‘one way or another’ in the winter market.
The 31-year-old has a market in the Premier League due to the time he spent with the Gunners, and Aston Villa have now appeared as one of the contenders to sign him.
This is according to Sport Mediaset, who, in a short report, explain that Steve Gerrard’s side are ‘interested’ in the Wales international.
The midfielder has made five appearances in all competitions this season and has made only one appearance since the end of September, which came in his side’s 1-0 win over Zenit St. Petersburg in October.
It’s claimed the player has not been training with the rest of the squad for some time now and Sport Mediaset explain Ramsey will ‘personally negotiate his transfer with Juventus’.
With both Ramsey and the Turin club keen to end their association, Aston Villa, who are ‘interested’ in the Welshman, can pounce on the opportunity to sign him in January.
