Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri is on Aston Villa’s transfer agenda for the summer, according to a report from Spain.
The Morocco international refused to leave the La Liga side despite having options to change clubs in January.
On Monday, AS reported Sevilla are looking to collect around €50m from the forward’s sale in the next window.
This claim is relayed by Fichajes.net, who then provide their own update on this case, which is when they mention Aston Villa.
It’s claimed the 25-year-old is liked in the Premier League, where West Ham United have tried signing him for the past few years. Apart from the Hammers, Unai Emery’s side would also be interested in securing the player’s services.
With Aston Villa now emerging as En-Nesyri’s new suitor, the Spanish club ‘smell the deal’. They want to take advantage of this to try to get rid of the attacker after this season. It’s not made clear whether Aston Villa are ready to invest €50m on the Moroccan.
En-Nesyri has scored 12 goals from 30 matches in all competitions this season.
