Aston Villa are one of the sides to have made ‘interesting proposals’ to Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, with his display against Juventus having ‘rekindled the interest’.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who cover the youngster today and how he’s making Europe ‘crazy’ for him.

The newspaper reports that Yildiz’s excellent performances in the win over Manchester City in the Champions League did not go unnoticed and instead rekindled the interest of many foreign clubs in the player.

They have spent the last few months trying to flatter the young playmaker with interesting proposals and Corriere put Aston Villa among them.

Juventus are aware of this interest in the player and moved to sign him to a new deal that suited everyone in the summer after Arsenal and Liverpool made offers for the 19-year-old.

There’s a growing acceptance that there will need to be another deal struck next summer if Yildiz continues to impress as he has done.

Juventus aren’t putting a transfer price on him, but they do believe that all of the clubs interested in him will ‘return to the charge’ at some point, particularly after the display against Manchester City. And Aston Villa may be among those to do so.
