Aston Villa’s busy summer of transfers shows no sign of slowing down at this stage. Monchi loves a bit of transfer business and it’s likely he’ll still be trying to get deals across the line when the window eventually closes.

There’s been multiple outgoings, which of course allows multiple incomings, and another in the former category is developing.

MilanNews24 are covering claims from Sky Italia which state AC Milan are keen on Jhon Duran, but they face a hurdle in any negotiations with Aston Villa.

The Serie A side would likely prefer a loan deal with an option to buy, allowing them to test out the player in the coming season.

However, Aston Villa don’t even want to entertain the idea of a loan, so that looks off the table. The Premier League club believe they can ‘earn a lot’ from Duran’s sale and it’s stated Villa are asking for more than €30m.

West Ham are said to have approached the figures Aston Villa are asking, but Duran is aware of interest from AC Milan and is therefore stalling his decision making.
