Earlier this week, Foot Mercato stated Juventus have made contact with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey’s entourage over a potential move in January.
The Ghana international has been restricted to five appearances this season due to poor form and fitness. A groin problem forced him to miss September’s matches while he’s currently on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Partey has struggled with multiple injuries since he arrived at the Emirates from Atlético Madrid in 2020 and this has caused frustration at Arsenal.
That’s at least what Tutto Juve are reporting and they add that Mikel Arteta’s side want to get rid of him ‘immediately’.
Partey has a deal lasting until 2025 and although Arsenal are keen to sell him, Tutto Juve make no mention of the fee requested.
It’s pointed out the north London club tried to offload him in the summer window but that wasn’t possible because they didn’t receive the offer they were hoping for.
With regards to Juve, the outlet states they don’t have the funds needed to sign him but will continue to monitor his situation.
An effort for a loan seems a likely scenario here.
