Spanish side Valencia are on the verge of announcing the signing of Jeison Murillo from Inter Milan. But he’s not the only defender the La Liga club would be looking for.

As reported by Deporte Valenciano today, it’s possible that the club will end up selling Ezequiel Garay this transfer window. He’s wanted in Russia and Italy, and Valencia will be happy to make some money from him.

Garay’s transfer money would be partially used to buy a replacement, and the club would be planning to get Gabriel Paulista.

The Arsenal player has already worked under Marcelino at Villarreal, and the manager would like to count on him once again.

Recent reports from England saying Paulista is set to leave the Gunners have encouraged Deporte Valenciano to confirm their theory, and other outlets such as Super Deporte are doing the same.

But for the move to happen, Garay must go first. Not only because there’s some room needed for so many defenders, but also because Valencia will need money from one transfer to make the other possible.
