Arsenal will need a big effort if they want to take Mario Mandzukic from Juventus this summer.
Although the player has been struggling to succeed in Turin, and should continue to lack game time as the Old Lady signed Gonzalo Higuain, the club are still not convinced that they will sell him.
That’s why Tuttosport are saying that only a “monster offer” would convince Juve’s board to get rid of the player. Arsenal, Barcelona and Wolfsburg are said to be the clubs who are monitoring the 30-year-old’s situation.
Mandzukic moved from Atletico Madrid to Juventus last summer for €19m, but hasn’t had hugely impressive results for the Old Lady. He finished the season with 13 goals and six assists.
Earlier, Calciomercato claimed Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Everton and West Ham were all interested. They also stated, which didn’t make a great deal of sense, that Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham want the player, and have done since January.
At this stage it appears random clubs are being linked with the Croatian.
