On Saturday, TuttoMercatoWeb published an exclusive saying Arsenal would be interested in the Lanús winger Miguel Almiron.

The website claims that Arsene Wenger’s side offered €11m, and the Argentine club would be asking for €13m. That’s a converted price of £11m.

When they say exclusive, they really mean it. No other website has reported Arsenal’s offer, not even outlets from Argentina or Paraguay.

Spanish website Don Balón were the first to claim Arsenal’s interest, saying on August 20th that the Gunners would be prepared to offer €15m for the 22-year-old.

Don Balón’s report also said Real Madrid and Manchester United kept an eye on the Paraguayan international in the past.

No need to say that Don Balón aren’t the most reliable website in Europe, but it’s interesting to see how they’ve reported it before anyone else.

We just wonder why it was reported in Spain and Italy and never in Argentina, Paraguay or England. Agent’s move? Maybe.
