Not longer the news emerged that Paulo Dybala wouldn’t be renewing with Juventus, the idea that Arsenal could make a move for the player emerged.
The Gunners lost a high profile player to a free transfer themselves in January, allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to terminate his contract before seeing him sign for Barcelona a few days later.
Now, it’s their turn to target a high profile footballer out of contract, as Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Dybala.
Corriere dello Sport are the ones pushing it on Wednesday, claiming the Emirates side are one of three Premier League clubs monitoring the situation alongside Tottenham and Manchester City.
A meeting could be in the offing too as the latest agent appointed by Dybala is ‘now in England, as he continues to shop around for his client’s next landing spot.
That being said, they will need to be convincing, as Atlético Madrid ‘remain the main candidate’, which makes sense, since their manager is from the same country as the player and they speak the same language.
Either way, there’s still plenty of time for that to change, since ‘the path leading to the finish line will not be short, because the continental market will be particularly vibrant next summer’.
With so many big names expected to move, twists and turns could be around the corner, and perhaps Dybala to Arsenal will be one of them.
