Following those initial reports from Brazil claiming Arsenal are interested in Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, it’s now the Italian media who’ve been bringing more claims on this chase.
This morning, we covered a piece on La Lazio Siamo Noi which said the Gunners have ‘set their sights’ on the 20-year-old, who’s also desired by a couple of Serie A clubs.
Now it’s outlet Calciomercato.it who features a piece talking about the player’s current situation and price ahead of a potential summer transfer.
Their report points out Danilo is followed by Juventus and Lazio, besides being offered to Milan and Roma, and with a contact from Benfica.
Still, it’s said the ‘most concrete contacts’ actually come from the Premier League, where Arsenal are one of the clubs willing to bring him to England.
According to the website, Palmeiras want between €15m and €20m.
Danilo has been growing a lot in the past few months, and that’s why the price has seen a significant raise, as something between €8m and €10m was demanded last year.
With Arsenal being the club linked to him for a longer period, it sounds like it’s finally time to move before the competition goes and get him.
