Arsenal are once again linked to Mexican international Miguel Layun on Tuesday. This time, instead of newspaper A Bola, it’s Record who does it.

The outlet has a story about the player’s recent quotes with Cadena SER about his future, as he’s expecting a decision from Sevilla on whether they’re using their buying option over him or not.

“I see it complicated, I think if they had the intention they would have already communicated with me, with my agent,” said the Mexican, who can be bought by Sevilla for only €5m (or €6m, there’s some disagreement) until June 30th.

Record claims that Layun has no big plans to stay at Porto, where he has a contract until 2019, so it’s very likely that he’ll have to find a new destination for next season.

The report says that Arsenal, Marseille and Milan would be some of the interested sides, although there are no details on how the talks with these clubs are going.

This is the same of list of clubs who are being reported by local newspaper A Bola as well, so we’re not sure how much of Record’s information is genuinely their own.

Now in case these clubs do go for him, we’re just pretty sure that Porto will expect more than the €5/6m Sevilla could pay.
