Fulham are one of the three clubs interested to sign Arsenal’s Cédric Soares in the winter market, according to a report.
The right-back has been restricted to only four appearances in all competitions this term. It includes one start, which came in the Gunners’ EFL Cup defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has preferred Ben White on the right side of the defence ahead of the 31-year-old.
Cédric Soares’ lack of playing time at the north London club has not stopped him from drawing attention from elsewhere.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Fulham, Bayer Leverkusen and Villarreal are the three clubs looking to secure his services in January.
Marco Silva’s side and the Bundesliga side wanted the defender in the summer transfer window, but despite failing in their attempts, both these clubs have been attentive to the Portugal international’s situation at the Emirates.
It’s explained Fulham, Bayer Leverkusen and Villarreal have already had ‘some contacts’ with the player’s agent.
TuttoMercatoWeb also add that Arsenal, for their part, ‘could sell’ Cédric Soares in the January window.
