Arsenal sent scouts to Benfica’s home cup tie against Vizela last night, according to Portuguese newspapers Record and O Jogo.
It’s unclear who Arsenal were keeping an eye on during the game, but what Arsene Wenger’s spies saw was a very good performance from Benfica’s attackers.
Brazilian striker Jonas started his first game since August. The player, who was out due to a severe ‘bacterium injury’, scored a brace and showed he can still be in good form.
Winger Andrija Zivkovic had a great performance, ending the game with three assists.
