Last month, Fichajes.net reported Mikel Arteta is pushing Arsenal to sign Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot in the summer.

The France international’s contract expires in June and his future plans are not yet made clear. That’s according to Tutto Juve, who state it’s by no means he’ll sign a new deal with the Serie A side.

Rabiot could leave the Old Lady for free and has a ‘very high bargaining power’ when deciding where he’ll play next season. This has become a problem for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

Arsenal are among the clubs in the mix to sign him in the next window. The 28-year-old’s situation is ‘tempting’ for the Premier League sides, including the Gunners.

It’s said the English clubs are enthused they could sign a player of Rabiot’s profile for free by offering a contract of around €10-15m per year.

Arsenal, along with other English clubs and Paris Saint-Germain, are ‘ready to go on the offensive’ to secure the player’s services for free.

Juve cannot compete with what Mikel Arteta’s side [and others] are ready to offer Rabiot. This makes it a ‘problem’ for the Turin club to retain him beyond this season.
