Arsenal are looking at Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, if reports are to be believed.
Area Napoli have come up with a report in which they discuss about Napoli players who could either sign an extension or would be allowed to leave the Serie A side in the summer.
The Poland international is included in the list and his current deal with the Naples club runs until 2021.
It’s claimed the striker is demanding an annual salary of €4m (most likely after tax) plus bonuses, while Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t want to ‘go beyond’ €3m.
Therefore, the Italian side could cash in from the 26-year-old’s sale and that’s when the Gunners get a mention. According to the report, the north London club are ‘ready to deal’ for Milik ahead of the summer.
Any approach from Mikel Arteta’s side or another club for Milik would see them spend ‘at least €40m’. It remains to be seen whether or not Napoli’s demand will be met, especially given the player’s contract expires in 2021.
Milik has nine goals in 16 league appearances this season.
