Unable to sign players permanently, as revealed by Unai Emery, Arsenal are going around Europe trying to pull off some ambitious loan deals.

The one involving Denis Suarez looks like it will drag on until the end of the window, but another one is being worked on, according to L’Equipe.

Publishing on their website on Thursday, the French newspaper explain that Arsenal are ‘pushing’ for a deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Christopher Nkunku.

Made aware of the interest over the past few days, the midfielder is said to be ‘interested by the project’, and has made his desire known to the Ligue 1 champions’ board.

Any deal would be through a loan with an option to by, but a lot hinges on whether or not Paris Saint-Germain manage to bring in other midfielders during the current transfer window.

Unai Emery will know all about the 21-year-old, having managed him during his time in France prior to his move to Arsenal in the summer.
