Napoli are interested in Pablo Fornals, but they face a problem, report CalcioNapoli24.
The Villarreal midfielder has been linked with a string of clubs in recent months, and Arsenal have been one of them.
CalcioNapoli24 present them as the likeliest competition, as Napoli look to get a deal for the 23 year old. It’s explained that the Serie A club have already offered wages of €1.5m a year to try and tempt the Spaniard to sign for them.
That would be on a five year contract and the figure is likely to be after tax, given that’s how football wages are usually reported in the Italian media.
Such an amount would be no problem for Arsenal to compete with, so as long as an agreement could be found with Villarreal or a deal done over buyout clause.
Fornal’s clause ranges from €26m to €30m depending on who is reporting it at the time, and it’s certainly not thought to be an amount which would scare away those interested.
