There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray have stepped up in their pursuit for Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The Ukrainian has been linked with a move to the Super Lig leaders in the past couple of days as they look to bolster their defence in this transfer window.
Zinchenko has struggled to get games for the Gunners this season, leading to reports he could find a new club this month.
Fotospor today report on Galatasaray’s continued interest in the Arsenal player, and they say Cimbom have been in talks with the left back’s agent over a possible move in this transfer window. There were also recent reports Gala planned to approach Arsenal over this availability.
However, Gala have been knocked back by Zinchenko’s representatives after they informed the Istanbul giants they are currently in talks with German side Borussia Dortmund.
In the past week the Ukraine international has also been linked with Inter Milan and Galatasaray’s local rivals Fenerbahce.
Zinchenko has made just seven appearances in the Premier League this season and is contracted to the London club until June 2026.
