The Spanish media continues to show how clear it is that Hector Bellerin wants to leave Arsenal this summer.
When the fullback was being linked to a move to Betis, the local press had several stories about his love for the club, saying he’d make the necessary effort for the transfer to be possible.
The Seville side, however, have been struggling to finance the operation. This week, reports claimed Bellerin is again an option for Barcelona, who are chasing a right-back and see him as a cheap option.
Marca today writes that club director Mateu Alemany recently called the entourage of the Arsenal player to find out about his situation and availability to make the switch. Even though Bellerin currently demands a salary worth €4m per season, it’s said he’d take a pay cut ‘with no problem’.
Another factor that makes him a good option is that Arsenal are looking for his exit, and could let him go on a free transfer. That makes Bellerin the cheapest option Barcelona have on the table, even though Juan Foyth and Thomas Meunier are still being considered.
