Arsenal’s Nuno Tavares is ‘again in the sights’ of Lazio, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The left-back joined the Gunners from Benfica last summer and before making a switch to the Emirates, he was also wanted by the Serie A side.

Dimitrije Kamenovic arrived instead at the Italian capital club, from Serbian side Čukarički, but he hasn’t featured for the Biancocelesti so far this season because they have not yet registered him.

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri has asked the club to bring in a new striker and a left-back in the winter market. For the fullback position, the idea that remained since last summer is the one that leads to Mikel Arteta’s man.

The Portugal U21 international has been restricted to only six league starts this season, forcing him to spend more time on the bench at Arsenal.

Gazzetta state Lazio would like to negotiate the 21-year-old’s arrival in January on a loan deal with the right of redemption.

Before making an effort to sign the Arsenal player, Sarri’s side would first need to get rid of Manuel Lazzari.  A ‘sale is needed’ for Lazio to make an approach for Tavares.
