Arsenal loanee Joel Campbell is reportedly fully recovered from an knee injury after being sumbitted to surgery at the end of the last season.
The player suffered the blow playing an international match for Costa Rica in July, and was initially expected to be out for six months.
But it seems he’s almost ready to play, because as reported by El Desmarque today, he’s already training with Real Betis’ squad and should be available for manager Quique Setién soon.
The player was sent to Spain on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season, and it seems it won’t take so long until he’s able to play for the La Liga side, who obviously knew about the injury’s seriousness before signing him.
This is Campbell’s sixth loan since joining the Gunners in 2011. He previously had spells at Lorient, Betis, Olympiacos, Villarreal, and spent the last season at Sporting, where he failed to impress.
