Barcelona’s interest in Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães has been a big deal in the Catalan media.
On Tuesday morning, newspaper Sport broke the news claiming the Camp Nou side ‘like’ the player and would now negotiate with Arsenal for a potential summer deal.
Then an update on their website brought a few scenarios for this deal, as to afford the transfer, Barcelona would have to include some players in the agreement with Arsenal.
Now in a new story, Sport comes up to explain Gabriel Magalhães’ stance on a possible move. And it turns out his response seems to be positive.
The outlet writes that Barcelona found a ‘good predisposition’ from the player to make the transfer, as he’s ‘expectant and receptive’ about the chance of moving to the La Liga giants.
Sport, however, don’t ignore the fact that Barça will have a hard time to sign Gabriel from Arsenal, as he now has a valuation of over €40m and other players should be included in the deal.
Still, they also point out the ‘excellent relationship’ between the Catalan club and Edu Gaspar, claiming the talks are still in early stages.
