With six months left on his contract, Adrien Rabiot’s decision to not sign an extension has seen his playing time limited and if reports are to be believed, Thomas Tuchel has banned the midfielder from entering the dressing room.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager wants his side to strengthen the midfield position in the winter market and Catalan newspaper Sport takes a look at the options.
One of them is Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, who is also almost in his final six months of contract at the Emirates and has not signed an extension.
The Wales international has not been used regularly by Unai Emery and the report mentions the Gunners star’s profile is similar to that of the Frenchman, but with one ‘drawback’, which is Ramsey cannot play as a pivot. 
His experience of playing at the top level will see him cost around €15m to €20m in January.
