According to Fanatik, Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny has been offered to Trabzonspor.
The Egyptian midfielder has now completed his loan spell with Super Lig side Besiktas but Fanatik claim he may have the chance to remain in Turkey with Trabzonspor.
It’s reported the Karadeniz Firtinasi will part ways with Stoke City’s Badou Ndiaye and signing Elneny could help them to fill the void left by the Senegalese midfielder. Ndiaye spent the season on loan with the Trabzon side.
Fanatik also claim Elneny is keen to join Trabzonspor on a loan deal and there could be some ‘significant’ movements with regards to this potential transfer in the coming days.
Elneny was a key player for Besiktas throughout the season but has had some troubles with Besiktas’ board over unpaid wages.
The 28 year old made 36 appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions last season, scoring one goal. His contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of June 2022.
