Having returned to Schalke on a loan deal in the winter market, Arsenal’s Sead Kolašinac featured regularly for the German club in the second half of the season.

Schalke had the intention to make the 27-year-old’s stay permanent, but the relegation from the Bundesliga and their financial issues made it difficult for them to retain the player.

The situation has now forced the left-back to return to the Emirates, where he has a contract until 2022.

According to Calciomercato, the defender has now ended up in the sights of Lazio and Napoli.

It’s claimed the Bosnia and Herzegovina international isn’t included in Mikel Arteta’s plans next season, and therefore, he’s ‘evaluating’, with his agent, the offers he has received in the last few hours.

Among these are the proposals from the two Serie A sides, who are in the market looking for a new left-back.

The website further adds the Gunners player is open the idea of moving to Italy and has already ‘informed himself about Lazio’.
