Once again, Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week includes a few players from the Premier League.

Each week the famous old Italian newspaper pick out a selection of the best performers from around European leagues, ignoring their own Serie A in the process.

With Arsenal not having a blistering season so far, Arsene Wenger’s men haven’t had many mentions, but this week there’s a place for Sead Kolasinac.

That’s no surprise, the 24 year old was excellent in a 2-1 Arsenal victory over Swansea City, scoring a goal, assisting another, and putting in a Man of the Match performance at the Emirates.

Kolasinac was awarded an 8/10 by Gazzetta, with no other player in the selection getting a higher grade. That’s a very good mark for the Italian newspaper, who don’t throw around 7s and 8s for average performances.

The 24 year old is continuing to show his worth to Arsenal since arriving from Schalke on a free transfer during the summer, and is a bright spark in a continuing difficult period for Wenger.
