Fanatik claim Arsenal are interested in signing Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu after following him for the past 18 months.

Born in the Netherlands, the 19 year old has chosen to represent Turkey and he’s currently playing for their U21 side.

He’s been in impressive form for Feyenoord this season, making 29 appearances for Dick Advocaat’s side and scoring three goals.

Mikel Arteta will be looking to strengthen his squad in the summer after a disappointing Premier League campaign for the Gunners, and Kokcu is said to be one of his targets.

According to Fanatik, Arsenal want to act quickly to ‘steal’ the player and they are looking to complete his transfer before the start of Euro 2020. There’s a possibility the youngster could still break into the Turkey senior team ahead of the tournament.

The Rotterdam side are looking for a transfer fee in the region of €20m for Kokcu, who’s under contract at the club until June 2023.
