Inter Milan seem pretty convinced they can land Ivorian youngster Yann Karamoh before the end of this transfer window. But there’s interest from Arsenal preventing Inter from getting too cocky about the situation.
As reported by Tuttosport today, Caen manager Patrice Garande finds it unlikely the 19-year-old will stay at the French side, and is already expecting replacements to arrive this month.
Inter Milan’s offer, made by their sporting director Piero Ausilio, is said to be €5m plus bonuses, an amount which is good enough for Caen to accept, and the player himself is said to have already made his choice.
But the newspaper calls for ‘attention’ for the competition from Arsenal, since the Gunners would be prepared to make a late attempt for the player.
Arsenal are not the only English club to be linked to Karamoh, with Everton, Southampton and West Ham linked at various times too.
Tuttosport believe Arsenal are now the only ones who could ruin things for Inter Milan, and say there’s a ‘photo finish’ ahead.
It would be unlikely for Karamoh to end up at the Emirates rather than San Siro now, perhaps the Italian press are looking for added drama for the ‘photo finish’.
