Serie A side Juventus are reportedly in negotiations with Arsenal for the transfer of striker Stephy Mavididi.
As reported by Tuttosport, the Old Lady are considering brining the player to their U-23 squad, which will be playing the Italian third division this season.
The outlet claims that Juve and Arsenal are already in talks, currently negotiating a permanent move for the 20-year-old.
What would favour the move is that Mavididi is not in Unai Emery’s plans for the season.
A product of Arsenal’s academy, Mavididi has spent the last season in two different loans. He was first sent to Preston North End, and in January, changed clubs to Charlton Athletic.
He’s currently playing the Premier League 2 for the Gunners, so moving to Juventus’ U-23 squad wouldn’t make much difference in terms of first team football. Maybe the Old Lady are promising a chance in the main squad soon.
There’s one more week for the non domestic Italian transfer window.
