Arsenal have shown the most interest in left-back Layvin Kurzawa but face a fight for the Frenchman’s signature.
Kurzawa looks set to leave PSG when his contract expires this summer, with the French side showing no interest in offering him a new deal.
At 27-years-old with a raft of experience under his belt, he could represent a smart capture for any club and several have been linked with making a move.
Arsenal are chief among them, with numerous rumours claiming that Mikel Arteta was pushing to add him to his squad.
Sport back that up today, saying of the clubs who are looking at Kurzawa; Arsenal have shown the ‘most interest’ thus far.
They will, however, seemingly face a fight from Spain for his signature.
The newspaper explains that Barcelona are also ‘attentive’ to the situation while Atlético Madrid have now joined the list of suitors.
It’s explained that Diego Simeone is looking for another player in the position to back up Renan Lodi, whose ‘physique does not allow him to accumulate too many minutes’.
His idea is to sign another left-back to ease the load on the Brazilian and Kurzawa is one of several options they are looking at.
