So here we go again. Arsenal, Manchester United and William Carvalho are involved in another transfer story.
It’s A Bola who are pushing it again, saying the Premier League rivals are still keeping an eye on the Sporting midfielder.
Carvalho is said to be a very old target for these clubs. The links date back to 2013, when he started showing some good football for the Portuguese club.
A Bola doesn’t seem to have any convincing information to say when or how much Arsenal and Manchester United offer for the player. They just claim he’s under their radar.
Despite the years of speculation, nothing seems to have happened recently. During the last summer, a bid from West Brom reportedly arrived at the Lisbon club, but it was turned down.
Carvalho currently has a €45m release clause and will hardly leave for less than that. There may have been a discount some months ago, but given his recent form and the Euro 2016 title, there’s no way that Sporting will negotiate.
