With Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both linked with an exit from Arsenal next year, it’s natural to see the club going after potential replacements for the position.

Now according to reports from Spain, the Gunners think of another Premier League star to take their place in the squad. That would be Everton forward Richarlison.

Fichajes writes that manager Mikel Arteta has been attentive to options in the current season and has now put the Brazilian’s name on the table.

It’s said that Everton are now ‘getting small’ (in terms of club size) for Richarlison, who’s been excelling for them for a few years and could now make a ‘quality leap’ by moving to Arsenal.

The Gunners, however, aren’t alone in the race. Fichajes points out that Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are ‘also attentive’ to the player’s situation at Goodison Park, as they follow his evolution from close.

Richarlison has three goals and two assists this season, despite his struggle with a knee injury. His performances in the coming months will certainly make clear which type of clubs could go for his signing in the summer.

Edu Gaspar would likely have a tough job convincing the player on behalf of Arsenal, with leaving Everton for the Gunners probably not the kind of leap the Brazilian is expecting.
