Earlier this week, reports from the Mexican media talked about the possibility of Arsenal calling Marcelo Flores back from his loan at Real Oviedo.

The reason for it was the little playing time the player is having in Spain.

Of course, this is just the start of the season, but there was some concern about him being only a bench player at the second division side.

However, as AS today writes about the changes that manager Bolo is about to make in the team, they claim the Arsenal player might actually be given ‘his chance’ of proving himself there.

It’s claimed the coach is about to modify the team’s formation and that would give Flores a new opportunity.

That way, he’d stop playing on the wing and have a more central role in the team.

Since joining Real Oviedo in the summer, the midfielder has made five appearances, but only two of them were as a starter, and that’s the main reason for the Mexican media to be talking about his form, as they have big expectations about him at the national team.

It’s probably too early to even consider what Arsenal would do in the coming transfer windows, so we shall wait and see if Flores will get those new chances.
