Arsenal and Juventus are reportedly monitoring São Paulo starlet Marquinhos Cipriano. The 17-year-old is considered to be the biggest talent who has come through the club’s youth levels recently.
According to ESPN Brasil, the European sides have been keeping contact with the player’s representatives in order to know his current transfer situation.
But the club’s board are not looking forward to sell the youngster anytime soon, since he’s seen as a player for the future of the club and São Paulo traditionally use their talents, and let fans enjoy them, before making money on the player.
ESPN says Marquinhos has a €30m release clause. The midfielder, who is currently playing the U-17 State Championship, has scored 14 goals in 12 games this season.
