Clearly trying to add some creativity, and maybe even some goals, to his Arsenal squad, Mikel Arteta, via Edu Gaspar, appears to have targeted Dejan Kulusevski.
The Gunners have been linked rather prominently with the Sweden international over the past week or so, and the rumours just won’t go away.
Kulusevski has found it a bit tougher to get game time at Juventus ever since Max Allegri took over, and for this very reason, an exit isn’t to be excluded in the foreseeable future for the forward.
TuttoJuve have some information on the matter on Monday, reaffirming that Arsenal ‘want’ the Swede, as they ‘like him a lot’, and are hoping to ‘repeat the glories of Freddie Ljungberg’.
Their first move to try and acquire Kulusevski was to ‘propose an exchange with Nicolas Pépé’, who has never lived up to his £72m price tag since his transfer from Lille in 2019.
Juventus, however, ‘would not be interested’ and ‘ask only for cash’, with demands of ‘at least €35m’ for the 21-year-old, who has one goal and one assist in 15 appearances for the Serie A side so far this season.
