After a few weeks being constantly linked to Manchester United, it seems that the Brazilian attacker Malcom has now attracted interest from Arsenal.
As reported by Goal’s Brazilian blog Ora Bolas, the Gunners have joined the race for the 20-year-old, having made an approach to Bordeaux ten days ago.
The French side are reportedly demanding €50m for the wonderkid, planning to make quite a profit after signing him from Corinthians two years ago for only €5m.
Besides Manchester United and Arsenal, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in signing the attacker, who can play both as a winger and as a forward.
Malcom has seven goals and five assists in 20 games for Bordeaux this season, and is very likely to have his best year of his entire career if he continuesthat way.
The very same Goal, but in its English version, claims that Manchester United are about to make a £40m bid for the player in January. So Arsenal will have to spend big to outbid their league rivals.
