Arsenal and Liverpool have been named as clubs in the mix to sign Kerem Demirbay during the summer transfer window.
This week’s edition of SportBild has a transfer special ahead of the summer, and names several Bundesliga players who could be set to move clubs.
Hoffenheim’s Demirbay is attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Schalke and Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund and Milan are thought to be the two clubs most interested in the Hoffenheim player. Renewing his contract a year ago, Demirnay negotiated a release clause, so his transfer fee is already agreed at €32m or lower, presenting an easy transfer for any club willing to pay that amount.
There’s no more detailed information on the Arsenal and Liverpool interest, but both clubs, if their interest is correct, will have been concerned to see the 24 year old pick up an injury this weekend.
Playing for Hoffenheim against Hertha Berlin, Demirnay damaged ankle ligaments and will now face a spell on the sidelines.
