Arsenal keen to do transfer at €15m, and player ‘delighted’ with idea of transfer

Arsenal would be quite content to see Lucas Perez leave the club this summer, report Sport in their Monday edition.

Linked with an Arsenal exit since the January window, the former Deportivo La Coruna star would also be quite happy should a move materialise.

Sport say Perez would be ‘delighted’ to return to La Liga given the chance this summer.

The Monday slant for Sport is interest from Espanyol, and it’s stated Arsenal are willing to accept a transfer fee of €15m. If Espanyol or another club reach that amount, then Sport believe Arsenal will hold the exit door wide for Perez, happy to get the money in to add to their big kitty.

Lucas Perez isn’t in Arsene Wenger’s plans, believe the Catalan newspaper, and the impending arrival of Alexandre Lacazette will push the forward even further away from the first team.

The transfer is still considered high cost for Espanyol, and it’s thought the player himself would prefer a return to Depor, or a move to Sevilla.
