Arsenal have taken Barcelona through quite a January experience over Denis Suarez.

With the player hoping for a move away from the Camp Nou, Barca were originally looking for a straight transfer during the winter market… and then Arsenal happened.

Suarez set his eyes on joining the Gunners, keen to play for Unai Emery and feeling he could fit into the Spanish manager’s tactics rather well.

Barcelona wanted to help as much as they could, and with Arsenal pleading poverty, the assumption was Suarez would move initially on loan but in a deal which contained a permanent move clause.

Arsenal weren’t keen on that either, and the latest reports from Spain suggest the English side have won and Suarez will sign on loan, with the Gunners having the option to make the move permanent.

Now, the club are also said to be interested in Malcom.

Mundo Deportivo say that whilst Tottenham interest has already been reported, their North London neighbours are also keen.

Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for the South American attacker, but they want a permanent deal which would be around €40m.

That’s incredibly unlikely for Arsenal, and the English side would have to come up with a very interesting proposal to convince Barca again.
