Giacomo Bonaventura to Arsenal is not a common rumour, but Rai Sport, via Calciomercato, say the London club are keen on the player.
They’re not the only ones, with Borussia Dortmund, Roma and Juventus also said to be admirers of the AC Milan midfielder. Mino Raiola represents the player, and the agent seems super busy at the moment.
Not only is he winding Ajax up, potentially arranging moves for more than one of the Dutch club’s players, but he’s holding meetings about other clients too.
It’s claimed Raiola has held a meeting with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Monte Carlo, to talk about a transfer for Bonaventura.
Whilst it’s stated the right-footer likes the Premier League, Juventus are presented as his first choice, which is no surprise given he’s Italian.
A potential summer transfer is valued at around €25-30m, but it must be said the Turin media haven’t really been pushing the idea of the 28 year old moving to Juventus, so perhaps there’s hope for any Arsenal, Roma and Dortmund interest.
That’s if those clubs, particularly Arsenal and Dortmund, aren’t being used to dramatise the story.
